Happy Friday, y’all!

Things Worth Listening To

  • This podcast about the dark and sordid history of Chippendales is obviously entertaining—but I also love the historical lens and expertise of its host, Natalia Petrzela.

  • A new weekly Canadian politics podcast from none other than Peter Mansbridge and Chantal Hebert. ❤️

Things Worth Watching

  • At no time in my vast education in this province was the story of Amber Valley ever shared with me. (Run time: 13.46)

Things Worth Checking Out

  • This Toronto-based design future project is fascinating and a must-read for designers who want to develop their future maker and thinker skills. I especially enjoyed this investigation into Toronto’s fake houses and the question and the challenge it puts forward to designers:

It makes you wonder just how much you can get away with. For example, the parallel can be drawn to automatons and artificial intelligence: just how much detail is required for us to accept them as part of our lives, not even noticing its existence…?

  • I’d live here.
